These trees in an urban park in Toronto are in an boggy area beside a pond. This year, however, because of frequent heavy rainfall, the water level is much higher and they are now standing in fairly deep water. It was very windy the day I made this photograph, and I used a very slow shutter speed to smooth out the appearance of the water. That also created blurred effects in the plants in the water as they moved in the wind and waves.
