week 47

One of the wonderful characteristics of trees is that they are not immobile; their leaves and branches move and respond to wind and weather. I was photographing on the beach this week in gale force wind. Sand was blowing around, clouds were racing across the sky, the light changed from one instant to the next. The bare trees above the dunes were waving and dancing in the wind. I made this in-camera multiple exposure to convey my impressions of the continuous turbulent movements of everything around me. It was exhilarating to be there!
