week 21

The fruit trees are displaying beautiful blossoms this week. Unfortunately the bright sunny skies (great for everyone but photographers, who hoped for soft overcast and light drizzle), made it difficult to capture their delicate pastel shapes and colours. By making an in-camera multiple exposure of the trees, the scene became rendered as a series of dots and segments, which softened and muted the high contrast effects of the harsh light, and turned the deep shadows under the trees into design assets.
