week 35

Trees were planted on the sidewalk in the small town near our summer cottage, in an attempt to beautify the area. However, off the main drag, many of the stores on this block are empty and the street deserted. The tree is the only sign of life in the forlorn, shabby atmosphere. A black and white presentation seemed to suit the grim mood.
