Weeks 1 and 2 explored colour that was bold, primary and intense. This week and next illustrate colour that is still lively but a bit more muted and secondary. This collage is an in-camera multiple exposure of part of a colourful, patterned rug and a painted ceramic bowl. The technique, using 9 separate images on one frame, blended the colours and textures, softening and muting them. Although the colours are bright they are not at all garish.
