WEEK 47: mostly neutral

We had another early snowstorm this week, but unlike the one several weeks ago for week 45 of this project, it is later in the season and most of the leaves have fallen. The palette in this photograph is much more typical of winter, a neutral mix of greys, whites, blacks and hints of brown. The accumulation of snow on the tangle of branches has given them some definition, while the falling snow gives a feeling of softness to the scene. Please click here to see Larry's image.
