WEEK 7: COTTAGE, MUSKOKA, ONTARIO
The boathouse next door has a patio on the roof, and as I was loafing on my dock, lazily gazing about, I became aware of the red umbrella on the patio, against the blue sky. Then I saw the cloud, which echoed the shape of the umbrella. That quickly snapped me out of my dreamy state and I grabbed my camera, which I have learned to keep nearby. I included part of the railing for balance, and in Photoshop, for compositional purposes and to keep things clean and simple, cropped out the trees that intruded into the left side of the frame.
