WEEK 48: Home, Ontario
While hanging up some laundry this week, I became aware of the plastic clothes hanger, and found the curved shape to be quite lovely in its simplicity. I decided to photograph it, using the shape as a line against a black background. I enjoyed exploring the visual possibilities of a mundane object that I had seen and used countless times, without really looking at it or appreciating it before. After putting away the laundry, for my other 52 week Impressions Project, I photographed the clothes on the hangers, using a motion pan, This can be seen by clicking here.
