Even though the sink, drain and knife were the same colour and tone, I noticed the way the round shape of the drain contrasted with the shape of the knife. What really caught my eye, and prompted me to make the photograph, was how they looked with the water from the faucet splashing on them, softening the lines and shapes, and adding texture.
