week 25: quiet, muted colour

The buildings on this block in Budapest were painted pastel colours, but the light on them and the trees was fairly harsh, forming areas of deep shadow. By creating an in-camera multiple exposure of the scene, the colours and tones blended and softened. The effect is much more impressionistic and evocative of the lovely, quiet, old street.
