week 19: mostly one colour

The walls and chair in this inn were all coated in the same dark red paint. Because the light hit each of the surfaces differently, there were areas of brighter and darker tones of the same colour. The space was a dining area, and the rich warm colour created a cozy, intimate atmosphere. If the red had been brighter and more saturated, it would have been overwhelming.
