week 34

WEEK 34: Kauai, Hawaii
Yesterday there was a cold front, bringing heavy rain and strong wind. Our hotel room is about 80 feet from the water, and I was able to photograph the ocean from the balcony. The waves were huge, crashing into the rocks, and visibility was very restricted due to the heavy rain. I used a very slow shutter speed to make the turbulent water appear soft and ethereal, and overexposed to maintain the delicate, subtle tones and colours.
