WORKS WITH WORDS

I have just completed a wonderful online photography workshop with Valda Bailey and Doug Chinnery. We worked on creating small photographic projects consisting of text describing the project and between 8 and 10 images. Editing down a lot of images into a limited number, finding a concept that ties them together and then writing about the collection is a challenging but very enjoyable way to present the work. It also gives a focus and structure to image making. I look forward to making more of these "works and words" projects, and will add them to this gallery as they are completed. I intend to use photographs that have been made with the in-camera multiple exposure and /or intentional camera movement techniques. I love making photographs this way and their expressive natures lend themselves well to this type of concept.
