theme 7 week 4: FOOD

I have always enjoyed photographing eggs. I love their simplicity of shape and the fact that they're white. For this image I place 5 of them in a white colander. The circular shape of the bottom of the colander echoes the curved shapes of the eggs, while the dark radiating straight lines of the strainer provide contrast in shape and tone.
