52 Weeks Project: Synthesis
According to Wikipedia, "Synthesis" refers to the combination of two or more entities, that, together, form something new.
For this year long project, I have set myself the challenge of creating, each week, a wholly new image either by reassembling portions of one photograph into a new form, or by combining two or more images into a single image.
This project will rely heavily on digital compositing and other computer skills. I will experiment with diptychs, triptychs, grids and any other form to which my imagination leads me. All the images will be created from my own original photographs; nothing will be computer generated.
Each week I will upload my results to this gallery, along with a short paragraph explaining how and why I made them.
