52 week project: Fragments

For this 52 week project, I will make photographs that only show parts of the subject that I have decided to shoot. There may be sections of totally unrelated objects juxtaposed in the frame. That the identity of the subjects may not be easily determined is not important; rather the focus of this project is to create images that are graphically strong. In such images, negative space, the areas between the actual subject, is often very important compositionally.

Each week I will upload my image, along with a short paragraph about it.
